Privacy and Security

The internet is a very open world, you can basically do many errands online. The internet allows you to shop online, get news, do homework, chat, watch movies, listen to music, play games, and also for business (make word documents, create presentation, spreadsheets, store and organize files). So the internet can provide you with most of your needs with ease. Unfortunately, your privacy could be at risk because of the existing spyware. In the article, "Why Spyware Poses Multiple Threats to Security" it says that spyware could steal your password, confidential e-mail, your bank account, credit card number, and other private information. Spyware is a threat to steal your identity and even can even affect national security with cyber attacks. The article also mentions that spyware cannot be detected as obvious as a  virus so we have to be very cautious on what we click on because most of computer users are vulnerable to be cheated. Furthermore, the spyware makes the computers performance slow down significantly and won't work reliably.
